How life path compatibility is calculated
Each person’s life path number comes from their full date of birth. Reduce the month, the day and the year to single digits, add them together and reduce again. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept as they are, because numerologists see them as carrying extra intensity.
Example: 14 July 1992 gives 7 (July) + 5 (1 + 4) + 3 (1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21, then 2 + 1) = 15, and 1 + 5 = 6.
The calculator then compares the two numbers using traditional numerology pairings. Numbers that share a rhythm, such as the creative 3 and the adventurous 5, score highly; numbers with very different needs, such as the independent 1 and the security-loving 4, score lower and come with advice on how to bridge the gap.
